Cortney Jones is a community advocate, social worker, nonprofit leader, and former foster youth running for Texas State Senate District 21 to pass people-centered laws that create real opportunity, dignity, and safety for everyday Texans. She believes that good intentions don’t change outcomes laws  do.

Cortney is fighting for quality education, livable-wage jobs that drive economic mobility, affordable and stable housing, and communities protected from harm by broken systems. Her campaign is powered by lived experience, community voices, and the belief that Texas works best when it works for everyone not just the well-connected.
